The fastest way to reach us is email. For anything time-sensitive — a factual error in a post, a program change we missed, a mobile collection event we should be aware of — flag it in the subject line and we'll get to it the same day.

Reader questions
If you have a specific household situation — a shed you inherited, a project you're wrapping up, a room you can't figure out — write in. We answer these individually, and the ones that come up more than once become future posts (with your details changed).

We can't schedule pickups. We can't provide legal advice. We can't tell you if a specific unlabeled container is safe to open (please don't ask; the answer is always "take it to the collection site as-is").
For scheduling household drop-off, use your county's website directly. For jobs above the household cap, a licensed hauler is the right call.
